The 10th September marked our restaurant's 1st anniversary. We would like to thank all our customers who have supported us over the last year and look forward to seeing you all again over the next twelve months.

We would like to personally thank everyone who voted A Casa Mia as winners in the Herne Bay region, in a recent poll run by Canterbury Times. We are so proud to be in Herne Bay.
From Monday 9th June 2014, A Casa Mia will be open 7 days, so there's a whole extra day to enjoy pizza from the first restaurant in the UK to be approved by Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana. If you love true Neapolitan [highlight]pizza, then A Casa Mia is for you. We are located less that five minutes walk from Herne Bay seafront, so why not visit our air conditioned, fully licenced, 50 seater restaurant today!
A Casa Mia is very proud to be the first restaurant in UK to be certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana or AVPN. The award was presented to usby Antonio Pace, president [highlight]of the association, and vice president Massimo Di Parzio. As a member, we must abide by specific rules when creating an authentic Neapolitan pizza. Pure effort and dedication is required for this achievement.

Our latest achievement is that we have scored an official Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Very Good) out of 5 by Canterbury City Council on 3rd December 2013 ! The Food Hygiene Rating system is a Food Standards Agency initiative and gives consumers informed choices about hygiene standards in cafes and restaurants.
All Cafés and Restaurants have their score published on the Food Standards Agency website so the public can see how well they fared.
A big thank you goes to our friend Domenico Esposito, who helped us to achieve this with the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) manual, related forms and further staff training. Thank you!
We will start our Christmas menu from 3rd of December 2013. All the pizzas, sides and nibbles will be available as usual. Set lunch also available on the day.
